Senior Software Engineering Manager, Virtual Storage (Mandarin, English)

• Build a team of engineers that would be responsible for building SSD storage related products, features, reliability and performance
• Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals
• Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams
• Coordinate and communicate among multiple partner teams, including SSD hardware, Persistent Disk, VM virtualization/hypervisor, and others
• Support critical customers with proactive escalation management and effective communication
• Develop the mid-term technical goal and roadmap within the scope team(s)
• Evolving the roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs
• Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems
• Provide long-term goal for storage core features and performance, work closely with partner teams to realize the goal as it goes beyond the virtualization stack

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in software development
• 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role
• 5 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and regional partners

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently
• 5 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization
• Experience in Storage and Virtualization technologies
• Experience with storage networking protocols (e.g., NVMe, SCSI, iSCSI, or NFS)
